Accra is the capital of Ghana and is one of the most modern and popular cities of Africa. With the population of almost 2 million, Accra is the blend of great civilizations. Taxis are other good options but remember there are two types of taxis run in Accra; Metered taxis and Un-metered Taxis.  Besides, rental car and taxis Tro tro is another good option to travel around. Tro tro is nothing but a van but it is only recommended if you can share your seat with another person.

The list of Accra’s tourists’ attractions is never ending. First of you should pay a visit to the National Museum. There you will learn about the olden times of Ghana but once you get some basic knowledge about the city you should go to the Makola market. There you would see a huge arrange of stalls offering unique handicrafts. Besides handicrafts, shoes, tools, clothes and many other household are also available there.

Kwame Nkrumah Memorial park was created in an honor of Kwame Nkrumah, the great Ghanaian leader who led Ghana towards Independence. It’s a perfect family spot and definitely you will see parents playing with their young ones. Labadi beach is just like a heaven in Accra and is located between two popular hotels La Palm and La Badi Beach hotels. It offers the prettiest view of Accra.
